Chevalier Logan Galahad
Knight-Solaire of the Knights Solaire, Routaille Chapter
Appearance
At 26 years of age and standing at 6'5 with a body honed from hours upon hours of training, Logan towers over many of his comrades in the Knights Solaire. Due to his deep brown eyes and smooth golden hair, he looks strikingly like his mother, who has told him that he inherited almost none of his traits from his unknown father. He carries himself with confidence, with a small smile always on his face.
PersonalityTo those around him, Logan appears to be the paragon of a knight; kind, brave, and intelligent. However, due to his uncertain lineage, he always feels he has something to prove to his comrades - leading him to be overly aggressive at times when around them.
A Brief HistoryLogan was born to a prostitute and an unknown father. His mother, although involved in a less-than-savory profession, loved her son dearly. As long as she lived, she tried to shelter him from the harsh realities of their lifestyle. Of course, she died only a few days after his 10th nameday.
Logan was left all alone to fend for himself, and was forced to take up petty thievery as a way to survive. However, instead of joining gangs like the other street rats his age, he instead decided to remain independent. Of course, that eventually led to him butting heads with said gangs. On his 15th nameday, he was confronted by five armed gang members. He had trespassed on their territory and he would pay for it. That's what they thought, at least. The fight only finished after a passing swordsman stopped Logan from beating the fifth member to a pulp, after having pummeled the others to near death.
The swordsman, who introduced himself as Chevalier Gain of the Knights Solaire, was impressed by the young lad's ability to fight. After explaining the intricacies of his faith as well as their duty, he asked Logan whether he would join the Order and help protect Trevast. Logan, willing to do anything to escape his current life, agreed.
While initially disliked by his fellow pages upon his induction into the order due to his lack of an education (formal or informal), Logan managed to change their opinions of him through sheer willpower alone. In addition to his lessons under Ser Gain, who had become his mentor, he spent countless hours at night studying maths, languages, and even court etiquette.
After six years of training as a page under the Order, Logan, now a Page Gladius, participated in a major raid on a Boteri harbor. However, for reasons unknown, the Boteri found out about their approach and a battle ensued. The fighting was tough, but the Knights Solaire fought on. Eventually, the harbor was set aflame, but near half of the raiding force of a hundred men had been lost, including Chevalier Gain, who had become something of a father figure to Logan.
Upon his return to Castle Routaille, Logan and several other senior pages were knighted for their accomplishments during the raid. However, Logan's problems had just begun. On top of having to deal with his grief over losing his mentor, he would now have to prove himself to his fellow knights. Thus, he's gone on a pilgrimage in order to prove his ability and honor to the Order as well as the rest of the world.
