Mirun X of Izhen

Appearance:
Mirun is a half-Boterin, half-Trevastine appearance. She has the classic Merov features of a shapely body, intense eyes, and thin nose. She likes to wear her hair in braids or down her back and is a noted beauty.

Biography:
Mirun and her twin sister Shanvi were born the only children to the last King of Kings of Izhen and Emperor of Trevast Darius. Their father’s reign began relatively well, but over time he grew more decadent and corrupt. Growing weak as his viziers, eunuchs, and vassals took advantage of his personal weakness to pillage the state. His daughters grew up under the care of their mother a cunning and ruthless woman who taught them much. Nobody really paid them mind as their uncles and cousins all vied for the throne. Who would ever expect that these twin girls would be much of a threat. But, they slowly developed a power base and made many friends amongst the children of their court. Yet, still people underestimated them. When their father passed due to an aberration in his heart that went unnoticed. Shanvi and Mirun showed their true colours. They ruthlessly punished corrupt officials, killed the disloyal eunuchs, and punished corrupt vassals, many were stripped of lands and titles and placed under loyal vassals, others lost everything including their lives. These past five years the Miruvid twins consolidated their power and established a loyal powerful powerbase and have begun to look outward…

Personality:
Mirun is at her core a good person, it’s buried deep under many layers, but Mirun is to her friends and family a gentle caring person. However she learned at a young age that ruling this court of vipers does not take a gentle person, she is harsh but fair. Very diligent with her responsibilities and cares for above all else the stability of the realm. The most important person in the world to her is her twin sister whom she loves above all else. Mirun also detests the colour red to the point that she outlawed it in her presence.

Skills:
Mirun is a skilled tactician and great with knives and sabres. She is also a skilled harpist but she only plays for her sister and closest friends. She is versed in history, theology, and speaks and can write Rjillish, Izhen, High Trevast, and Alendron and can understand Luskan and Valdez.
