This was an unusual employer tactic. Kinessa had assumed they would've talked about it beforehand and these two situations would not overlap. She tilted her head. "Barring one job paying more, the cartographer sounds more important. Being a bodyguard is not unpleasant." Her initial edge had softened now that she had control of that surge of emotion. "I appreciate the faith you both have in me." She added in to sooth over the swore spot.

Arradel's lips curled into an almost imperceptible smile as Kinessa's voice lost its edge. She waited until the other woman finished speaking before addressing Aurora, "You signed her on, its your call."

Aurora nodded towards Kinessa, "Alright stay with cartographer. It probably won't be as exciting but easy money." She then waved her hand to the rest of her soldiers as they mounted up on their horses. Then to Arradel, "Alright when ever you are ready I imagine we can head out unless we forgot somethin else."

Kinessa gave a deep bow to both of the women. She then started making her retreat.

Captain Lohen de Tosuel woke up early. Today is the day. He dressed himself, and sent the messengers to the mercenary officers' tents. They'd be moving out today, and all their requests should have been provided and in order. Just had to see them off.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The mercenaries were assembled around the caravan and ready, the officers more than prepared. "You've done well, captains. We will expect you back within the month with the requested materials, and then we will prepare for the second phase of the operation. Be stealthy, be safe: can't enjoy your pay otherwise, eh?" He motioned to the sentries, and the doors to the outpost opened: nothing ahead of the mercenaries but the road.
Bassania waited.

Aurora gave the order for her knights to mount up on their horses as she eyed the road ahead. A month didn't sound like much and she hoped it didn't turn out to be much more than that. One never could really know for sure. For now she rallied her vanguard and got them underway, she would follow along with the wagons. though truthfully she wanted to be up there in the vanguard. "Thank you good sir, We will be sure to be back. After all we were promised some bonuses for all this."
She then looked over to the other captain, "Lets get those circus on the road eh?"
